My Story

The following is a little bit about me and my love for all animals, if I could save all that needed saving I would, however I know that's not possible so I do whatever I can. Over the years I have created a little safe haven for as many animals as possible however this comes at a cost physically, emotionally and financially.

Having said that I've loved every minute of this journey.

An Idea is Born

My life long dream has been to work with animals and animals in need.

I started pet sitting privately in 1994 my first regular clients owned a Budgie.

I soon picked up other clients that owned cats and dogs.

I completed my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing 2009.

I worked as a Veterinary Nurse for about 7 years. I now work from home full time pet sitting and looking after my many pets and Sanctuary Animals some of which were acquired from my years of nursing, some surrendered some from people that have passed away and some that were abandoned by their owners. I have acquired many others along the way such as chooks, ducks geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, horse, dogs, cats and fish.

Owner operated

My custom built cattery opened in September of 2015. My mission was to create an environment that was not only safe for cats but also fun as well and to show clients that cats can be content in a home away from home facility.

By doing my own research I have discovered that cats are incredibly social creatures and do enjoy the company of both human and other cats much to the surprise of some owners. I have seen first hand how content many of my fur guests are and believe they too enjoy a holiday packed with love fun and enrichment.

Why Us?

An experienced pet carer with Veterinary nurse experience will be looking after your pets, I have several years of hands on experience with special needs pets.

We offer a unique homey environment for your pet with lots of love, play time and one on one time. We don't charge for play time or cuddles. We love your pets as much as you do.

We have very strict conditions of entry such as all dogs and cats must be completely vaccinated and de-sexed. You must provide proof of such by way of Veterinary Certificates.

*The owner lives on site. and has Public Liability Insurance.

So, if you are tossing up the pros and cons of using a boarding facility over a house sitter be it friend relative or stranger, please phone us to discuss your options.

Some points to consider

*You can still own pets and enjoy holidays.

*Your pets can have an enjoyable time as well. Some don't want to go home.

*Your dog will get to sleep in a home with warm cosy bed, television and air conditioning.

*Your pets get to socialise and explore different surroundings.

*We can post pictures to our face book page of your pet on holidays.
