Dog Boarding and Doggy Daycare Service

Kennel free dog boarding, specifically for smallish breeds or for other size dogs that match temperaments.

Please note that regular daycare clients have priority for dog boarding.

The best way to prepare your dog for boarding with a stranger is to give them a routine, this routine starts by having a meet and greet. This gives the owner opportunity to ask questions and the dog opportunity to become familiar with Karen and her property.

The next step is daycare.

Daycare should be weekly or at the most fortnightly for a minimum of four visits, much longer for anxious dogs.

After daycare, we can proceed to an over night trial. Then boarding if all is well with daycare and trials.

Progression to overnight boarding

Once your dog is in a routine with doggy daycare, is sociable, toilet trained, not aggressive, not destructive, not an escape risk and has passed the initial assessment stage, we can progress to an overnight trial.

The overnight trial is to check for any unwanted or negative behavior that may be missed during daycare. Please remember your dogs are staying in my home so they are required to be on their best behavior. Once your dog passes overnight trials, they can progress to boarding.

Please note if your dog does not get passed doggy daycare, it could be because your dog has anxiety, and while I have helped many dogs over the years overcome their anxiety, some severe cases need a Veterinary behavioral consult and a professional dog trainer.

Note:- I require all dogs to be desexed, vaccinated, toilet trained, microchipped and registered with your local council, and your contact details must be up-to-date on the NSW Pet Registry.
