My purpose built indoor air conditioned cattery has spacious walk in rooms, each room is large enough for a two cat family each room has it's own scratching post, bed, clean linen and litter trays. The lounge area is for free play time, one room at a time, there is also an attached secured outdoor cat playground. Security doors and shutters throughout and a three door entry exit system. Pet heat mats or discs available upon request. If you bring your pets own blanket please make sure it is clean. I do not accept dirty linen. Rooms are thoroughly cleaned with Veterinary disinfectant between guests. Toys are cleaned regularly.

Many pet owners suffer from anxiety when it comes to making decisions regarding where their pets will stay when going on holidays. If you choose to leave your pets with us you can rest assured your pets will be cared for by a Veterinary Nurse in a loving caring environment with all the creature comforts they would have at home.

We also cater for pocket pets such as Rabbits Guinea Pigs and birds we have a large walk in enclosure 3.7 meters x 2.5 meters in size and can easily accommodate a large family of rabbits or guinea pigs or a combination of both. Our enclosure is a poultry shed secured to a concrete slab so it is completely predator proof, and screened with mosquito netting, there are tunnels, logs and beds lined with hay a viewing platform with a ramp that bunnies absolutely love jumping up to investigate. Prior to your arrival we line the floor and beds with clean fresh hay. Rabbit & Guinea pig teeth grow constantly please get them vet checked annually. Please see T&C's for what you need to bring.
Meals
Nutrition: I provide a variety of premium food for your cats including Optimum, Black Hawk, dry food and a large range of wet food such as Applaws, Dine, Fancy Feast, Royale Broth, Felix, Purina just to name a few. All food & water is refreshed daily. You are welcome to bring your cats favorite food to help eliminate tummy upsets from a sudden change in diet.
If your cat is on a prescription diet please bring that with clear feeding instructions. Preferably typed instructions. Please note it is not uncommon for cats to go off their food for a day or so when boarding due to a change in their routine and a strange environment.
My normal routine here is dry food in the mornings and wet food of an evening. Elderly cats and young kittens or those with health issues may require more than two portions a day. Please provide clear instructions of your pets specific needs.
Your Cat's Health is Important to us
My mission is to ensure your pet has an enjoyable time while staying with me.
Annual vet check ups, desexing, vaccinations and parasite control is important for your pets health and is a requirement for all that holiday here.
Dental Hygiene please make sure your pets are not having any difficulty eating before their holiday, gingivitis, tartar or any other teeth or mouth issues can cause a great deal of pain for your pet.
Your cat must have a completed vaccination protocol. Vaccination must be completed no less than 10-14 days prior to arrival. Your cat must also be de-sexed a Certificate of Vaccination and De-sexing can be provided by your vet. A receipt is not sufficient. They must also be Microchipped and registered.
Your cat must also be free from parasites such as mites fleas ticks and worms please ensure this is done a couple of days prior to arrival.
I highly recommend having your cat treated prior to arrival so they can enjoy the outdoor playground. There are several products now available from you vet.
Medications are administered free of charge however please make sure all medications are clearly labelled with your pets name, name of medication, strength, dose rate and instructions.
If your pet is with us for a long stay please be sure to send any oral or topical treatments your pet may be due for such as worming or flea and tick control. If any products need to be supplied by us this will be added to your final amount owing and will be due before pick up of your pet.
Please make sure your pet has had a recent health check with your vet within two weeks prior to boarding to make sure your pets medication is correct and you have an up-to-date dose rate.
Boarding:- If you plan on boarding your cat long term, I recommend some short visits in the lead up. This will be the best way to prepare your cat for long stay.
